2-Chevrolet Volt  Electric car:
The Chevrolet  Volt is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicles produced by General Motors. The Volt is on sale in the U.S. market since mid-December 2010 and is the most efficient compact car sold in the United States,  as assessed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
According to General Motors, the Volt can travel 25-50 miles (40-80 km) on its lithium-ion battery only. The EPA official all-electric range is 35 miles (56 km), and the total range is 379 miles (610 km). The EPA rated the Volt combined city / highway fuel economy of 93 miles per gallon gasoline equivalent (MPG-e) in all electric mode, and 37 U.S. mpg (6.4 liters per 100 km, 44 mpg-imp) in gasoline-only mode, for a total combined gas-electric fuel economy rating of 60 mpg U.S. (3.9 liters per 100 km, 72 mpg-imp) equivalent (MPG-e). The Volt works as a pure electric vehicle to plug-in capacity of the battery is depleted, at which point the gasoline engine powers an electric generator to extend range of the vehicle. The Volt is regenerative braking also contributes to the on-board electricity generation. To improve performance, the internal combustion engine mechanically activated in times to both the electric motor to help propel the Volt.

The Ford Focus Electric is a 5-door hatchback electric car produced by Ford Motor Company. The initial U.S. market rollout is scheduled to be limited to 19 regional markets, beginning with California and New York in late 2011, and continued with other initial U.S. markets in the second quarter of 2012.The European launch is planned for late 2012. Pricing is not yet known. Focus Electric shares the glider of the third generation Ford Focus, and the electric drive uses a 23 kWh, liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery providing full electrical range of 100 miles (160 km) and a top speed of 84 gives mph (135 km / h).
The concept car, presented as the Ford Focus BEV, was introduced at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.The pre-production version, renamed the Ford Focus Electric, was unveiled at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show.The Focus Electric was awarded the 2011 Green Car Vision Award at the 2011 Washington Auto Show.

Southern California Edison, New York Power Authority, and Johnson Controls each ordered 20 Ford Transit Connect Electrics. Ford sells thousands of these practical electric vans.




6-Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid Electric Car:
The Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid is a mid-sized plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV)  to be produced by Toyota Motor Corporation and scheduled to be released to the market in the second quarter of 2012.The Prius PHEV is based on a third generation Toyota Prius (model ZVW30) equipped with a 5.2  kWh lithium-ion batteries developed in collaboration with Panasonic, all electric operation possible at higher speeds and longer distances than the conventional  Prius hybrid.The production version will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011.
The Prius plug-in total, all electric range 13 miles (21 km), has an expected total range of 475 miles (764 km), and a maximum speed of 62 mph (100 km / h). The lithium-ion battery pack can be recharged in 180 minutes at 120 volts or 90 minutes at 240 volts.The Prius plug-in has a capacity of 134 mpg-US (1.76 liters per 100 km, 161 mpg-imp) with a combined yield based on 43.6% of driving in EV mode, and the CO2 emissions of 41 g / km.Fuel returns operate as a gasoline-electric hybrid, like the regular Prius, is 72 U.S. mpg (3.3 liters per 100 km, 86 mpg-imp) with CO2 emissions of 76 g / km.





7-Honda Fit  EV Electric Car:

Fisker Automotive (Fisker Karma) Electric Car:
Fisker Automotive is an American automaker based in Anaheim, California. The company's first product, the Fisker Karma is one of the world's first real electric vehicles with extended range, others including the Chevrolet Volt. It debuted at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, creating the premium segment of the green car that most major manufacturers have announced that they would compete.
The Karma has claimed a total range of 300 miles (483 km), the first 50 miles (80 km), with an exhaust emission-free electric charge alone. After 50 miles (80 km) a range extending gasoline engine turns a generator to an additional 250 miles (403 km) from the range to add.
An estimated 15,000 cars per year produced by Valmet Automotive in Uusikaupunki, Finland.Valmet is currently building the Porsche Cayman and Boxster sports cars for Porsche AG.
Fisker Karma originally intended to sell in late 2009, but due to funding delays, is now focused on the start of customer orders to be delivered sometime in late 2011. Fisker Karma has announced that the S hardtop convertible concept unveiled at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit will be available in 2012, at an unknown price. Fisker has said that it intends to nearly 200 dealers in Europe and North America by the end of 2011.
