911 Memorial Photos:
This truck was awesome. You can decide whether or not. Here is some information I took down after a conversation with the owner and operator. Their names are John & Amy Holmgren. They live in Shafer Minn. They thought this a fine tribute to those who lost their lives.
It has every name of every person who lost their lives on 9-11. This concept was devised by John and Amy, and totally paid for by them. John says he will be a while off the loan he had taken to do it, but thought this was the least he could do to pay. Applied Graphics in Fargo ND did most of the work and Paul Kosenski the hand painting. He said he went to the Country Singer Darryl Worley, who sang the song "Have you forgotten", and got pulled over 3 times by the police just to the photo of this truck needs. (Would I pulled him over too!)
He plans on attending the Mid America Truck Show in Louisville, KY in March. I think our employees will enjoy seeing the pictures. It's called the Rolling 9-11 Memorial, it has all the names of those who were slain on that day and the flights they were on, plus some other graphics on the side of the tractor.
